Yin by the Wollemi, Burnley Gardens, Spring 2024

Engage Georgia for group yoga including  yin & pranayama practice. Georgia has been a passionate yoga teacher working in Melbourne for over 22 years and teaches a number of styles with her fundamentals from a strong Iyengar background.

Georgia integrates techniques that support vagus nerve tone, promoting greater clarity and enhanced function of the cardiovascular, respiratory, and digestive systems. Her approach emphasizes breathwork and asana (postural) alignment, underpinned by a deep knowledge of human anatomy. Recognising that every body is unique, Georgia honours the truth that alignment is not one-size-fits-all—there are many ways a pose can be expressed, and all are valid.

Investing in wellness and offering a practice that can assist in the mental health of your team is a positive way to make use of your budget.  Traditional breath work has the scientific research to explain how these practices help to activate the parasympathetic (rest and digest) state, helping to shift your teams state of being from survival mode (fight, flight or freeze) and into a creative, harmonious state.

Work with Georgia to add yoga and wellbeing to your next event or an offer to your team.

ONE-ON-ONE

Two women practicing yoga in a bright, white room. One woman is lying on her back while the other woman is sitting beside her, providing guidance or instruction.

Work one-on-one with Georgia for personalised yoga and pranayama. With over 23 years’ experience teaching in Melbourne, Georgia brings a strong foundation in Hatha yoga, combined with a deeply intuitive and individualised approach.

Her work focuses on breath, alignment and nervous system support — recognising that every body is different and that true alignment has many expressions. Through traditional pranayama, polyvagal theory and trauma-informed practice, she supports activation of the parasympathetic (rest and digest) state, helping to regulate the nervous system and restore balance across the body’s systems.

Georgia works with a wide range of clients, including those from neurodivergent backgrounds and those navigating mental health challenges and trauma. She offers a safe, inclusive and affirming space for the LGBTIQA+ community, including those exploring or navigating gender identity, supporting a gentle reconnection with the body.

Sessions are available in person or via Zoom. NDIS clients welcome.
